FIGHTBACK KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE THE STRUGGLES OF OBESITY
We attack obesity from all angles: diet and nutrition, high-intensity aerobic exercise programs, and lifestyle coaching.
Diet and Nutrition: A diet must be custom fitted to each individual’s unique interactions between biology, psychology, and the environment in order to work in the long term. Through our specialized program, each individual is assessed and given a customized program including education on diet that is specific to them in regards to the individual’s thoughts, perceptions, and emotions towards eating.
High-Intensity Interval Training and Aerobic Exercise Programs specific for Obesity: Research has shown that utilizing both of these exercise modalities at 70-85% of heart rate max for 50 minutes 3 times a week for 3 months has significant improvement in obesity. The areas of greatest improvement were: improved cardiac function, decreased adiposity, normal BMI, less oxidative stress, reduced metabolic risk variables, and improved blood flow.
